| Enter The Weaving Wall, New York |
| The Weaving Wall (artist's concept image above) is part of an unrealized placemaking urban design initiative for a contemporary cybercenter at the edge of the historic downtown of Albany, New York. This architectural scale illusionist weaving was part of a public plaza. It was designed by the artist in collaboration with textile artist John Garrett and depicts materials first traded on this site in the 18th century. The glass panels "suspended" in the weaving are windows onto a conference center staircase. Sunlight passing through them projects light, color and text onto interior walls and enliven the park at night.
The work is part of a public art master plan developed by the artist for the urban center's $1M public art initaitve. The master plan included a plaza with an art glass tower and a seventeen story holographic glass light shaft integrated into the signature building's tower.
